Agustin Vivas
Agustin Vivas co-founded vidastudio. He is an architecture professional with over 7 years of practice in the fields of architecture, interior design, and construction.
PRINCIPAL & CO-FOUNDER
He is a qualified architect, registered in Argentina, and has extensive experience in BIM processes and project management, architectural technology, and computational design — including interactive simulations, optimization, environmental analysis, agent-based modeling and digital fabrication. His latest works include the design of a luxury residence in Malibu, California, and the conceptual design for an art complex.
Prior to establishing vidastudio, Agustin worked for the leading international firm Zaha Hadid Architects in London as a BIM Senior Designer. His responsibilities included BIM design, management and coordination of multi-scaled projects through different stages: from concept to design development for projects, such as the Fornebuporten metro station in Oslo, Norway, design and modeling of luxury villas for the NEOM development in Saudi Arabia, BIM design and workflow for the Navi Mumbai International Airport in India, and the rationalization and translation of geometries for the Vasby Entre station in Stockholm, Sweden.
Agustín also worked as a Senior Associate for ODP Architecture & Design in Hollywood, providing architectural consulting services and coordinating multiple high-end residential/commercial projects, generating feasibility studies for various developers and establishing quality control systems.
Agustin graduated with honors from the Master in Advanced Architecture (MAA) program at the Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia in 2018.
